Dichiarazioni del Network Antimperialista riunito a Istanbul il 22 maggio scorso.

Il Network Antimperialista del Social Forum Europeo in occasione della riunione tenuta a Istanbul il 22 maggio 2010 per organizzare i lavori del Social Forum, che si terra' sempre a Istanbul dal 1 al 4 luglio, ha prodotto le dichiarazioni seguenti: Come affermato durante l’Assemblea Preparatoria Europea del Social Forum, la crisi del capitalismo si trasforma in una vera e propria guerra contro le masse popolari. Di fronte a questi ultimi sviluppi, che a partire dalla Grecia si stanno estendendo in tutta Europa, il Network Antimperialista dichiara che limitarsi a pensare a un altro mondo possibile appartiene al passato. Il presente richiede qualcosa di nuovo. Dobbiamo comprendere che quest’altro mondo possibile e' il socialismo, e dobbiamo lottare per realizzarlo. La via d’uscita dalla crisi capitalistica e' il socialismo. Il Network Antimperialista dichiara la propria solidarieta' alla lotta delle masse popolari in Grecia e in tutti gli altri paesi d’Europa e del mondo che lottano per difendersi contro la guerra che la borghesia imperialista scatena contro di loro. Dichiara la propria solidarieta' a tutti i lavoratori e le lavoratrici che in tutto il mondo lottano come avanguardia delle masse popolari, e in particolare agli operai turchi della Tekel, la cui resistenza dura da mesi, e che il 1° maggio sono stati protagonisti della riconquista a Istanbul di Piazza Taksim, che il regime aveva proibito alle dimostrazione operaie per piu' di un decennio. Il Network Antimperialista dichiara la propria solidarieta' al movimento comunista e rivoluzionario del Nepal, che avanza con successo nella lotta per la democrazia e la sovranita' nazionale, per abbattere il feudalesimo, contro l’oppressione, e contro le mire espansioniste dello Stato indiano. Il Network Antimperialista dichiara la propria solidarieta' alla resistenza delle popolazioni indigene e al loro movimento comunista che resiste alla guerra che lo Stato indiano ha dichiarato contro di loro, la guerra chiamata Operazione Green Hunt, che prevede massacri, espropriazioni di terre e devastazioni ambientali di proporzioni gigantesche. Il Network dichiara inoltre la propria solidarieta' alla scrittrice e attivista dei diritti umani Arundathi Roy, perseguitata perché denuncia la barbarie dello Stato indiano. Il Network Antimperialista dichiara la propria solidarieta' ai popoli in lotta contro l’aggressione imperialista, in Afghanistan, in Iraq, e altrove. Il Network Antimperialista dichiara la propria solidarieta' ai popoli in lotta per la liberazione nazionale, ai palestinesi, ai curdi, ai baschi, agli irlandesi. Dichiara la propria solidarieta' ai prigionieri politici irlandesi in lotta contro le infami condizioni in cui sono costretti nel carcere di Bahagonny. Il Network Antimperialista si impegna a fare si' che il Social Forum Europeo sia uno strumento per fare vincere le lotte dei lavoratori e delle masse popolari in Europa e in tutto il mondo. Invitiamo tutti a partecipare a questo nostro impegno e a partecipare al Social Forum Europeo di Istanbul tra il 1 e il 4 luglio 2010. Costruiamo un’altra Europa! Costruiamo nuovi paesi socialisti!

Statements by Anti-imperialist Network from Istanbul on last May.

The Anti-Imperialist Network of the European Social Forum, on occasion of the meeting held in Istanbul on 22nd May 2010 for organizing the works of Social Forum of the same Istanbul on 1-4 July 2010, made the following statements. As it has been told in the European Preparatory Assembly of the Social Forum, the crisis of capitalism is becoming a real war against the popular masses. Facing the latest developments that, starting from Greece are wide spreading all over Europe, the Anti-Imperialist Network states that only thinking to another possible world belongs to the past. Present times need something new. We need to understand that this other possible world is socialism, and we have to struggle for building it. The way out from the capitalist crisis is socialism. The Anti-Imperialist Network declares its solidarity to popular masses’ struggles in Greece and in the other countries of the world, who struggles to defend themselves against the war the bourgeoisie is waging against them. It declares its solidarity to all the workers all around the world struggling as a vanguard of the popular masses, and in particular to the Turkey workers of Tekel, whose resistance is going on for months, and who were in the forefront in Istanbul in the conquest of Taksim square, which the regime had forbidden to workers’ demonstration for more than a decade. The Anti-Imperialist Network declares its solidarity to the communist and revolutionary movement of Nepal, which is advancing successfully in the struggle for democracy and national sovereignty, for overthrowing feudalism, against oppression and Indian State expansionism. The Anti-Imperialist Network declares its solidarity to the resistance of indigenous people and of its communist movement resisting to the war the Indian state declared against them, the war called Operation Green Hunt, that plans appaling slaughters, expropriations of lands and environmental devastation. Besides, the Anti-Imperialist Network declares its solidarity to the writer and human right defender Arundathi Roy, persecuted because she denounces Indian State barbarity. The Anti-Imperialist Network declares its solidarity to peoples struggling against imperialist aggressions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and everywhere. The Anti-Imperialist Network declares its solidarity to the people struggling for national liberation, to Palestinian, Kurdish, Basque, Irish people. It declares its solidarity to Irish political prisoners struggling against the awful condition they have to endure in Bahagonny prison. The Anti-Imperialist Network is committed to get the European Social Forum to be a means for making workers and peoples’ struggles win in Europe and all over the world.
